"Warlord"
Achilles grieves. A soldier, weeping, seems
No less the hero - still delivers dreams.
No powder running down his face, but tears
In the dust. Not ardour in men's hearts, spears.
Who says Patroclus should have been a farmer
Or poet? Nothing left of him but armour -
Which is apt. Women should be kept as chattels
For bearing sons. Lovers for love and battles.
Men should philosophize and body-build.
They like to see their lovers kill, not killed.
